You might think that because we employ more than 75,000 people around the world diversity wouldn't be a problem. In many senses it's not: we hire locally, so our employees reflect the diversity of the communities where we operate.
But we still have a way to go. For example, we need to address gender equality higher up the ladder. We are working to increase the number of women in senior management. To get there, we are working on our promotion and recruitment practices and redesigning our appraisal procedures.
Working at Philip Morris International
The areas where we feel we are particularly strong are our career development programs, our competitive salaries and benefits, and the challenging working environment we provide. This is a company that encourages and celebrates success.
We believe in continually broadening our employees' knowledge and skills through hands-on experience and by promoting many forms of training.

Philip Morris International employees are people who are keen to voice their opinions about company working environments and practices. We want our employees to shape this company, to contribute to the way it does business, from production through marketing to media relations.
We know our people represent us and we want them to be proud of the company they work for.
