Why we don't promote our brands on this site

Like any company, we aim to be successful. We currently produce seven of the top twenty best-selling global cigarette brands, including the world's number one brand. We're proud of the global success of our products and their continuing popularity with adult smokers.

We're also committed to developing new products that might reduce the health effects of cigarettes. Obviously, this is a controversial issue; you'll find more information on that topic in the "Reduced risk products" section of this site.

What you will not find on this site, however, is any promotion of Philip Morris International cigarette brands. This site is intended to provide information about our company and employees, about our business, and about our position on issues such as corporate responsibility, youth smoking prevention and the health effects of smoking.

For this reason we feel that advertising our brands here would be wrong. Our intention is to promote constructive dialogue about the issues that surround smoking, not to promote our products. We are also aware that young people might visit this site.

That's why there is no information about, let alone promotional images of, any particular Philip Morris International brand on this site, other than an alphabetical list of our products on the "Our brands" page. We've included that list for information purposes only; it contains no marketing material.
